Is LinkTradie free for homeowners?
Yes. Searching, shortlisting, chatting, requesting quotes and booking are free.
Are all tradies licensed?
We only list tradies in licensed trades whose registration we've checked against the public Victorian registers (e.g. VBA, Energy Safe Victoria). A badge shows the check passed — we never display licence numbers. Always confirm scope and insurance before work starts.
When can a tradie see my phone number?
Not until you accept their quote. Before then, chat stays in-app and phone numbers or emails typed into messages are automatically hidden.
How does the map work?
Pins show the tradie's suburb area only — never a street address.
How do bookings work?
After you accept a quote, the tradie proposes up to three times. Tap one to confirm, and add it to your calendar from the Jobs tab.
Are reviews real?
Reviews can only be left by homeowners who accepted a quote through LinkTradie. We never invent or buy ratings.
Tradies
How do I claim my listing?
Open the app, choose “I'm a tradie”, find your business and submit your details. Our team verifies your licence before the listing goes live.
What does it cost?
A basic listing is free. An optional monthly plan gives priority placement. There are no per-lead fees.
Account & privacy
How do I delete my account?
App → Profile → Delete account. Your personal data is removed; reviews you wrote stay anonymised.
What analytics do you use?
Cookieless Cloudflare Web Analytics (aggregate page views only) and anonymous error reports to fix bugs. See our Privacy Policy.
